THE CLAY SOIL AND SAND SOIL IN GRAND HUMUS PLUS | HUMIC ACID 92.3%

Image
Clay soils have the smallest particle size of all soils. Soils with high clay content are prone to becoming dense and compact, so much so that they may resist plant rooting. Humic Acid has several effects on clay soil. It isolates and removes the salts from the clay particle, re-imparting a negative charge to the face of the particle. It loosens soil and allows the plant roots to penetrate and move deeper. Long-term use of humic acid has been shown to create a less dense, better drained soil capable of significant yield increases. With regards to Sand Soil, although you might be quick to disagree after spending a long a day at the beach and trying to get sand out of various places you don’t want it in. It's rough because it actually has the largest particle size of all soil types. Sandy soils will drain quickly, which makes them relatively easy to cultivate and work. BUT that same characteristic also means that sandy soils have nearly zero ability to transport water from deeper lay...

GRAND HUMIVET: THE BEST ANIMAL HEALTH ROUTINE SUPPLEMENT

Image
In this chemical driven age that we live in, not only humans are exposed to chemicals, but even livestock, piggeries, poultries and aquatic animals that are raised and bred for human consumptions are fed by chemical, synthetic or inorganic feeds induced by growth hormone and antibiotics to improve animal production. These practices posed health risks to humans. Organic Solution: Grand HumiVet Grand HumiVet is an Organic, all-natural, non-toxic, non-allergic supplement with chelated essential minerals and trace elements that improves the health and performance of poultry, piggery, livestock and aquatic animals. Grand HumiVet is a sodium salt of humic acid obtained through the alkaline extraction of highly oxidized lignite (leonardite). It can be easily handled and transported. It has been explored in veterinary science and applied in livestock breeding for more than 30 years. Benefits: ■ Improves the immune system. ■ Increases disease resistance ■ It stabilizes intestinal ...

GRAND HUMUS PLUS: Organic Solution for Today's Farming Challenges

Image
Healthy soil is essential for the production of crops used to feed humans and livestock. In addition to providing a stable base to support plant roots, soil stores water and nutrients required for plant growth. Unfortunately, industrial agriculture practices continue to damage and deplete this valuable natural resources. While intensive plowing and mono-crop agriculture systems have caused nutrient depletion and wide-scale soil erosion, over-application of fertilizers and pesticides has contaminated our soils and polluted our waterways. “The alarming fact is that foods (fruits, vegetables and grains) now being raised on millions of acres of land that no longer contain enough of certain minerals are starving us – no matter how much of them we eat.” - U.S. Senate Document 284  In the last 50 years, nutrients contained in our food diminished tremendously caused by the depletion of minerals in the soil due to non-replenishment and irresponsible over-use, as well as the heavy use of ino...

A SUSTAINABLE ORGANIC AQUACULTURE IN AFRICA

Image
Applications of Humic Acids in Aquaculture Humic acid is natural organic substances found in natural water systems and thus are compatible with all aquatic life forms. Prolonged stress and inadequate adaptation to stress in aquaculture could result in the reduction of the immune defense systems of fish which could lead to infection and disease. Treatment of diseases in fish is limited because of the following: 1. Only few chemicals were approved for use in aquaculture and these are not effective īagainst all pathogens. 2. Chemical treatment may be linked to side effects such as toxic stress. 3. All chemicals approved for use in aquaculture are suspected of being mutagenic or carcinogenic with a high potential to non-target organisms. Benefits of humic and fulvic acids application in aquaculture: 1. Increase in brood yield, through prophylactic treatment of fish eggs and larvae. 2. Improvement in growth and food utilization. 3. Improvement in condition, strength and resistanc...
